The Embassy
of India, Bahrain announces that it has entered into a contract with
M/s OCTIC International for outsourcing its passport, visa and consular
services. The outsourcing of consular services at Manama has commenced from 7th February 2011.
This is in line with Government of
India's policy to reach out to the ever-expanding large Indian
community in different parts of the world including the Gulf region,
and to provide efficient and transparent services in a comfortable
environment to the community with minimum additional financial
liability.
The outsourcing of Indian passport, visa and
consular services has been divided into three offices i.e.
- India Passport and Visa Application Centre at Manama,
which will provide both passport and visa services
- India Passport Collection Centre at Manama which will accept
only Indian passport and passport-related applications from
individuals, families, Agents and Companies.
- Attestation of documents-related consular services will be
provided at the Embassy by M/s OCTIC International.
Staff members of OCTIC International have no role or influence over the outcome
of an application. The decision to grant or refuse a visa is made
solely by the officers at the Embassy of India, Bahrain.
It
remains our commitment to ensure the integrity of our process. Any
applicant submitting false documentation or other incorrect
information in support of his/her application may be referred to the
local authorities.
